Blessings Beautiful Soul.

I’m Latonia.

I’m so glad you’re here.

This is my story.

Welcome to my corner of the world.

I am a mom of three, a wife, a woman of faith with a passion – and a God-birthed purpose – to empower women with hope to know their worth, discover who they are, gain the knowledge to guide them to be who they were meant to be, and learn the strategies to reach their goals through the powerful personal development benefits of journaling.

It has been my heart’s work to walk this journey for over the last 10+ years. I teach, give hope, and create heart-centered experiences from The Best of Me Program, Retreats, and our LWL Community for women to achieve the life they desire through unique and diverse approaches to journaling.

Back in 2013, I hit my own personal rock bottom with my mental health. I’ve journaled all my life from a young age of 12 years old, but my passion for journaling grew in my adulthood when it became the way I learned to create light out of dark tragedies in my life. When I lost the hope to live, felt the pain of losing loved ones, when I felt hurt by the people I loved the most, and when I didn’t have enough faith to believe I was good enough, that’s when I learned firsthand that life teaches you the most important lessons that are not taught in any classroom. In the pages of my journal, God met me there and I learned how to write my way out of darkness. I learned how to write by faith, write my visions, dreams, and the strategies to achieve them. I left my corporate career, a life that no longer worked for me, and began a new life.

The intimate writings of my journal became a new story of my life in those pages that changed my life forever and the pages I’m still writing to this day are just as impactful now even after all these years. A cry on my heart to be happy became the fuel of a lifetime of hope and happiness for me to inspire and give hope to so many other women.

Let’s Write Life started as a journaling company with a mission to impact the lives of women struggling with mental health to rewrite life, know their worth, and make it their choice to choose happiness through journaling. Let’s Write Life has provided programs for women, mentorship, wellness retreats, and inspiring events that bring hope since 2015. My journey grew beyond my dreams. You can read my official bio as you explore more about me below.

In 2023, Let’s Write Life has evolved, expanded, and grown to support women reach their goals and also support the lives of those women who need restoration and hope in their marriages and family relationships through the new division of Let’s Write Life Marriages.

Journaling has been with me throughout every season, chapter, and page of my life the way God has always been. Every page is a new story and with that, I am here to share this inspiring journey – and world of journaling – to be a mentor, sister, and friend to God’s most precious purpose-driven women who have visions in their heart and are ready for their next chapter to be written!

REASONS WHY I JOURNAL?
MY MENTAL HEALTH STORY + HEALING THROUGH
JOURNALING

Someone is fighting a lonely and silence struggle you know nothing about everyday. That used to be my story. As an entrepreneur and women of faith that has learned how to overcome the challenges of living with mental illness and manage the triggers that often can impact my daily life, it’s important for me to share my story on mental illness and how journaling became a tool that supported my healing.

If you struggle with your mental health: depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, post traumatic stress disorder, ADD, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, etc. Journaling can help.  Listen to this video. My hope is that your unique reason for journaling helps you the way journaling has helped me.

YOU’RE WORTH WRITING FOR. – LATONIA

LIFE TEACHES US THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSONS. I’VE LEARNED:

  • Journaling is the first book you’ve already published.
  • You can always choose happiness.
  • Take time to be still. A quiet mind can hear God.
  • Gratitude is the best healer in hard times.
  • God will never bring you this far to leave you.
  • Pain can be the birthplace of your purpose.
  • Life is not promised. Don’t waste it doing something you don’t love.
  • You are always stronger than you think.
  • The only opinions that truly matters about YOU is what you believe, what you think, what God says about you, and how you feel about yourself.
  • You are worth the journey. That’s reason enough.
  • When you know your worth, you know what’s worth your time.
  • The comeback is always the best part of every story.
  • The storm that was set to break you will be the same storm God uses to bless you.
  • In my breakdown, that’s when my breakthrough took place.
  • Sometimes the only way to get through is to go through some things.
  • When you write, your soul speaks. Your heart is in your hand.
  • You can do hard things.
  • Sometimes, new beginnings are disguised as painful endings.
  • Find yourself and believe in yourself.
  • Confidence will take you ANYWHERE you want to go.
  • I dare you to journal as I do and reach your goals until your life reflects your dreams (and every prayer) within the pages.
